After taking his family on two failed trips to Wally World and Europe, Clark W. Griswold then attempted to have some Christmas fun. But obviously things don't go according to plan in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the third installment in the National Lampoon's Vacation series. This series of Chevy Chase vehicles, in addition to being very funny, have also been the most acclaimed of the various National Lampoon series or otherwise varying quality. Once again, it was written by 80s movie mastermind John Hughes.
