Photos From The Set For the Upcoming Season of AMC's The Walking Dead - TVStoreOnline

Have you ever wondered what a movie set looks like? Specifically, The Walking Dead set? Well, if you love The Walking Dead as much as we do here at TVStoreOnline.com, then you wouldn't be able to resist the urge to go for a set visit either if given the opportunity.

Well, okay, we didn't really have access to the set of The Walking Dead, but we did have a friend of the TV Store Online Blog drive down to Senoia, Georgia to see if he could get us something from the current shooting of the upcoming season of the hit AMC Series.

It turned out that he was able to grab some great photos outside the set itself!

Last Season, you'll recall that Rick and the gang ended up in a cozy little suburb which was called "Alexandria". The Season ended with all hell breaking loose there, so it should come to no surprise that the upcoming season of the show would be using the same shooting locations.

It turns out that the setting for "Alexandria" is located in Senoia, Georgia, which is just forty-five minutes south west of Atlanta. As these shots were acquired during the 4th of July weekend--the security was still tight even though no shooting was actually happening.

Senoia, Georgia was also the shooting location for Season 3 and 4 of The Walking Dead, with the physical downtown area of Senoia serving as the Governor's town "Woodbury". The downtown area of Senoia is literally 25 yards north of the suburb being used for this past season of the show and the upcoming one. In fact, it's literally across some railroad tracks just a few steps away.
