These pants are fantastic with or without TBL reference. I would recommend these to anyone! I typically wear a size 34/32 jeans and I ordered a large. The elastic waistband (no drawstring) is tight enough to keep the pants up even with my phone, wallet, and keys in the pockets - but not so tight that it leaves marks. They are super comfortable and look great!

Excellent pajamas in the manner of The Dude. The pants are more of a traditional cotton poplin pajama material, rather than a jersey material, but are of good quality and comfort nonetheless. The fabric is not stretchy, so be accurate in your estimation of your waistline.
