People everywhere are stoked for the fifth installment of the  Transformers franchise. On June 21, 2017, the wait for Transformers: The Last Knight will be over. Most folks are already pumped to see this movie. However, if you need an outline of reasons to be even more excited for one of the summer's biggest releases, check out the list below.

Michael Bay

The Transformer franchise exists because of one man. That man is Michael Bay. Film snobs may turn their noses up at him, but we know better. Nobody makes a better action movie than Michael Bay. His action sequences are pieces of art. With Michael Bay, we know there won't be a lack of explosions, crashes, furious battles, and more. Nothing screams summer like an action movie, and nobody makes an action movie like Michael Bay. This man will make our summer awesome!

No Optimus Prime

There will be very little  Optimus Prime in this film. Admittedly, most people would think this is a liability. We all know that Optimus Prime is biggest and best Transformer of them all. How does his absence make the film great? Well, for starters, remember that awesome characters are sometimes defined by their absence in movies. The plot of Transformers: The Last Knight revolves around Bumblebee, Cade Yeager,and two members of the British upper-crust trying to save the world without Optimus Prime. This will surely make the other characters grow, and it will create an incredible vacuum for Optimus Prime to fill when he finally does decided to show up.

The Vehicles

Transformers are awesome because they are battling robots that turn into sweet vehicles. In this movie, we can expect to see a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, a Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray, a Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4, and more. Car buffs will love this film just for the sweet rides alone. These incredible cars also make Transformers: The Last Knight the movie with the most expensive promotional toys ever. Forget buying some silly lunchbox. You can actually buy these cars in the real world! Start saving your nickels and dimes after splurging on popcorn and soda at the concession stand!

Say Good-Bye

Michael Bay announced this will be his final  Transformers film. This means we will need to savor every morsel of Transformer action we can get. You can bet your bin of vintage Transformer toys that Michael Bay won't hold anything back for his final Transformer film. We can expect a great movie this summer that will also be one of the greatest cinematic goodbye parties ever. You can bet Michael Bay will go out of his Transformer directing duties with the biggest bang ever. This practically guarantees Transformers: The Last Knight is going to be awesome!

Nazi Drama

We know the new Transformer movie will have something to do with Nazis. How do we know this? For starters, there was a huge controversy during filming regarding Nazi flags. Apparently, a scene in the movie was shot at the legendary Winston Churchill's home. For the scene, the estate was draped in Nazi flags to symbolize some type of Nazi headquarters. Reportedly, onlookers were appalled. However, director Michael Bay defended the decision and claimed Winston Churchill would love the movie. Bay explained that people just needed to wait and see it. In light of this controversy, we can't wait to see how the plot of this movie plays out. If Michael Bay can shut down the controversy with such confidence, it simply has to be awesome!

Costumes

Transformers: The Last Knight will arrive just as factories fire up to manufacture  Halloween costumes for 2017. This means we will certainly be able to find some awesome Halloween costumes this fall. Bumblebee masks and costumes will be sure to make an appearance. What kid doesn't love Bumblebee? Also, since they are the chief villains in the movie, be on the lookout for Transformers shirts with Megatron or Transformers costumes for Barricade. We might see a lot of them!

Veterans

Michael never tries to hide his support for our military veterans. You can see this in the war films he has made, and you can see this in his public statements. Thanks to his defense of the Nazi filming controversy, we know that veterans will somehow play into the plot of the movie. We can't wait to see how Michael Bay shows his support for this important group of men and women through Transformers: The Last Night.
